Men, Women, & Families

MEN

Catholic Men's Fellowship
This is a lay apostolate, a brotherhood of Catholic men. Although based in and primarily for those in Pittsburgh, U.S.A. and not comprehensive, the site has some great information for any Catholic man who wants to overcome his worldliness and live a holy life in Christ. (And only when a man is walking in Christ can he truly be an effective leader of his family and in his community!)
Their page on men's groups has information on how to start one in your area. Their Sexual Integrity page has information to help men stay chaste, and a link to "Clean Hotels".

Crossing The Goal
This multimedia football-themed ministry was created as an outreach "to men concerning their spiritual well-being". The EWTN network carries their television show of the same name (view either Web site for details). DVD sets, "Spiritual Fitness Workouts", information "for men who want to start a group at their own parish", are just some of the many great resources you will find on this site.

Dads.org
Faith, family, and fatherhood. A division of Family Life Center International (see below), you will find much information and resources on this site to help you reach your goal of strengthening your family in Christ.
The ministry includes the weekly radio program Faith and Family Radio.

WOMEN

Femininity
On this channel over at Catholic Exchange you will find articles on relevant topics about Catholic womanhood. Current articles include topics on the real war on women, the role of women in the Church, and why Catholicism is the "real women's liberation movement".

Women of Grace (with Johnette Benkovic)
This is "a Catholic apostolate whose mission is to transform the world one woman at a time by affirming women in their dignity and vocation as daughters of God and in their gift of authentic feminity™."
Here you can converse with other women through the Grace Place social network, read the latest breaking news, ask your questions about the New Age movement, view their television program or listen to their radio program and podcasts, find out information on their leadership and study programs.

FAMILIES

Family Life Center International
"Dedicated to defending the faith, family life, and fatherhood throughout the world", FLCI was founded by Steve Wood, a former Evangelical pastor, and "seeks to renew society by renewing strong, moral families."

Chastity, Abstinence, & Dating

Chastity.com (formerly the Pure Love Club)
A chastity outreach of Catholic Answers, here you will find information on what it means to be chaste, dating and relationships, reproductive technologies, Natural Family Planning, and much more. You will find answers to many of the questions you might have about chastity related topics in their Q & A section, as well as in their audio and video sections.

Courage
Whether you are a man or woman, young or old, if you or someone you care about is experiencing same-sex attraction this is where you will find information and support. This comprehensive international ministry includes a 12-step program; camps; conferences; resources, including for clergy, mental health workers, and physicians; and more than 100 chapters worldwide. The Reparational Groups serve to help those struggling with SSA to "surrender their desires to the Lord and join themselves to His crucifixion..." (Note: the Reparational Groups are not reparative therapy, which Courage does not support.)

This is a pamphlet from the Catholic Medical Association. You can view a sample of their updated edition for free, or purchase a full copy from their store.
