…he said to his mother, "Woman, here is your son." Then he said to the disciple, "Here is your mother." And from that hour the disciple took her into his own home.
―John 19:26‒27

Madonna House is a Catholic lay community of men, women, and priests, with field houses throughout Canada and internationally. The main goal of Madonna House is to form a community of love modeled on that of the Holy Family, who were "a community of perfect charity and love." Those at Madonna House "have a common desire to serve God in a very humble way of life"; a "spirit of self-sacrificing love for God and neighbour" is meant to penetrate every aspect of living.
Individual guests are very welcome and share in the life of the Christian family. Cana Colony for Families is a wonderful alternative to your usual summer vacation destination. Madonna House also has a gift and book shop (all the proceeds of which go directly to the poor), and free Pioneer Museum.
